FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to herniology. After exposure of hernia defect mesh prosthesis is laid to internal side of transverse fascia. Opening, corresponding to diameter of spermatic cord, is formed for spermatic cord from external side of mesh. 1-2 separate interrupted sutures are applied more laterally from the opening between flaps of mesh implant and ilio-pubic band. Mesh implant contacts with spermatic cord only in the area of deep inguinal ring. Mesh implant is cut out with 2.0-3.0 cm excess of inguinal space. Mesh is fixed to pectineal ligament in the area of femoral canal with 2-3 separate interrupted sutures.
EFFECT: method reduces complications and recurrences of hernias.
