FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves making fibrous posterior capsule portion dissection in its optical eye lens center, starting at 6 o'clock position. The dissection is done first in one side until cavitation bubbles arise between the excised fibrous posterior capsule portion of the eye lens and intraocular lens back surface. The dissection is done next to the other side until cavitation bubbles arise between the excised fibrous posterior capsule portion of the eye lens and intraocular lens back surface. The dissection is continued in the like manner circumferentially until pedicle is formed at 12 o'clock position. The whole fibrous posterior capsule portion having been separated, the pedicle is excised. The so formed opening diameter is to be 1-1.5 mm less than intraocular lens diameter. YAG-laser radiation parameters are as follows. Pulse power is equal to 1.5-4.5 mJ, pulse duration is 7 ns, spot diameter in focus is 12 mcm, the number of pulses is 20-120 and wavelength is 1.06 mcm.
EFFECT: improved vision function; excluded silicon oil migration into the anterior chamber; reduced risk of intraocular pressure rising.
