FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Discision hole is formed in optical zone of posterior capsule during YAG-laser discision. First, laser applicates with power of 1.5 mJ are applied on sections from 11 to 13 and from 5 to 7 o'clock, forming holes. Further, the patient moves his head from a vertical position to a horizontal position face up for 10 minutes, wherein the intraocular fluid moves from the upper part of the eye into the retrolental space and into the capsular sac, increasing the space between the IOL and the posterior capsule, and between the posterior capsule and the silicone oil. Then, the patient moves the head from the horizontal to the vertical position, and the posterior chamber is dissected in a circle with the formation of a discision hole by pulsed radiation of a YAG laser with power of 1.5 mJ, the number of pulses being 50, wherein intraocular fluid displaces upward to carry separated flap.
EFFECT: method enables increasing the effectiveness of YAG laser discision of secondary cataract with fluorosilicone tamponade, reducing the risk of intra- and postoperative complications.
