SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. A discission hole is formed in the optical zone of the rear chamber during YAG laser discission. First, the patient moves the head from a vertical position to a horizontal position face down for four minutes. In this case, the intraocular fluid moves from the lower part of the eye to the posterior capsule, increasing the space between the posterior capsule and silicone oil. Next, the patient moves the head from a horizontal to a vertical position, after which the posterior chamber is dissected along the circumference with the formation of a discission hole by pulsed radiation from a YAG laser with a power of 1.0 mJ, the number of pulses is 50. At the same time, the intraocular fluid, moving down, carries away a dissected flap.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the risk of intra- and postoperative complications.
