SUBSTANCE: apparatus has supersonic generator and wave guide with guiding aperture and is designed for exposing cutting liquid to supersonic vibrations before cutting zone through cutting tool in zone of contacting of cutting tool edges with blank by exciting radial-axial vibrations of guiding bushing in wave guide equipped with aperture for feeding of cutting liquid, said aperture communicating with drill guiding aperture. Wave guide is designed so as to provide direction of vibrations to be oriented perpendicular to main cutting edge of drill. Axis of guiding aperture in wave guide may be arranged at an angle to drill, equal to quarter the angle at its apex.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and durability of cutting tool and provision for desired quality of machined parts.
