FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the abrasive tools on a ceramic bundle production and operation, namely, abrasive disks, and can be used in various branches of machine building. Method comprises the tool impregnation in the boiling aqueous solution containing 20–25 g of chromium diiodide per liter of water for tn=3.2×10-3ν1.15a0/a, min, where ν is the abrasive tool volume in cm3; ao is the abrasive tool standard porosity from the given abrasive, bundle and composition, %; a is the impregnated abrasive tool porosity, %, with periodic shaking of the container with the chromium diiodide aqueous solution and the tool, and the tool convective drying during its rotation with a speed of 0.3–0.5 s-1 within 1.5–2 hours at a temperature of 40–50 °C, wherein, capacity with the boiling aqueous solution and the tool periodic shaking is carried out with a frequency of ƒ and amplitude A, equal to ƒ=8.24×10-4ν0.95d30.68a0/a, Hz; A=2.81×10-5ν0.83d31.24a0/a, mm, where ds is the abrasive grains in the tool main fraction average size, microns, and performed at equal intervals of time tpt, matching the shaking duration tt and taken equal to tt=tpt=0.1tp.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase the tool running time between resharpening, reduce the tool wear rate and improve the parts machined surfaces surface layer quality.
