FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: abrasive tool is preliminarily electrolytically treated in a 10% solution of ferrous sulfate for 2-3 minutes at room temperature and the current strength determined depending on the characteristics of the tool abrasive. After that, the tool impregnation is performed with an aqueous solution containing 20-25 grams of diiodide chromium per liter of water at room temperature for 10-15 minutes in a container with its periodic shaking to fix diiodide chromium in the pore space of the abrasive tool and its convective drying.
EFFECT: effectiveness of impregnating abrasive tools with chromium diiodide increases, the specific intensity of metal removal from the processed parts increases.
