FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: tool is impregnated by water solution of surface-active substances (SAS) at room temperature, and convection drying is performed upon the tool rotation. The tool is loaded in the water solution of SAS and subjected to hypersonic oscillations with frequency 16-18 kHz and amplitude 2-3 mm for 5-8 minutes. The convection drying of the tool is performed with rate 0.3-0.5 s-1 at 80-95°C for 2.5-3.0 h during continuous jogging.
EFFECT: reduced time period of impregnation of the abrasive too, and duration of convection drying upon keeping of the treated surfaces quality.
