FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: surgical stomach bandage can be used for curing obesity. Bandage is made in form of dismountable flexible ring with working cavity. Cavity is connected with excess pressure source and it is capable of uniform or non-uniform extending to center of ring and forming of ring, or, oval. Cross-section of working cavity is made in form of elongated rectangle which is oriented with its longer side to cross plane of ring or in made of circle with grooves oriented to cross plane of ring. Longitudinal size of cross-section is at least 1/3 its length exceeds its lateral size.
EFFECT: improved reliability; simple design; optimal interaction with organ to be pressed over.
