SUBSTANCE: surgical gastric band has a flexible pipe for connection to a pressure source, elongated working vessel and an elongated flexible base. The working vessel is connected to a pipe. The elongated base is attached to the vessel and is in form of a flexible plate. The base has a first terminal connecting device in form of a locking extension and a second terminal connection device in form of shutoff hole. The maximum size of the hole does not exceed the maximum cross dimension of the extension. The flexible pipe is connected to the working vessel through the base and is directed to the plane of the base at an angle of 75-110°. The first terminal connection device is provided with at least a support for holding the instrument. One end of the elongated working vessel is directed to the shutoff hole and has a chamfered end. The end of the base near the shutoff hole has at least two converging surfaces, which are mated with the chamfered end. The shutoff hole lies between the end of the working vessel with the chamfered end and the section, with at least two converging surfaces.
