SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of continuous in-feed of grinding wheels onto blank rotated from drive unit; subjecting blank to reciprocation oscillation motion with amplitude A = 1 - 3 mm in plane normal to rotation axes of grinding wheels and blanks.
EFFECT: improved quality of surface layer of ground parts due to uniform taking off allowance on their ends, lowered thermal stress of process.
