FIELD: coal processing methods.
SUBSTANCE: object of invention is processing of coal into medium-temperature coke destined for use in metallurgy and in power engineering by way of fluidized-bed thermooxidative coking of coal. Processing is distinguished by that processed is coal fraction 0ч15mm and air is supplied through coal bed at 800-900°C. Product is characterized by structural strength 70% for brown coal coke and 80% for coal coke.
EFFECT: increased strength of medium-temperature coke, increased average piece size, and increased productivity based in square meter of gas-distribution grate.
