FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to study blood serum in cats and dogs for detecting specific antibodies to toxoplasmatic antigen in reaction of indirect immunofluorescence. Dilution at which one can observe weak but apparent green luminescence in cell's periphery at 50% toxoplasmas in visual field is considered to be a serumal titer and at detecting high titers of antibodies (1:256 - 1:512) or a 4-fold increase or higher in antibodies' titers in two serumal samples obtained from one and the same animal at interval of about 2-3 wk one should put diagnosis for toxoplasmosis. The innovation provides decreased number of reaction components and its labor and , thus, more simplified implementation of researches and decreased time expenses for obtaining the result of diagnostic trials.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnostics.
