FIELD: metal cutting machine tools. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes clamping chuck mounted in working zone of machine tool and worked part holder that may be put onto clamping chuck and forced to it. First members for preset positioning provided in clamping chuck and second members for preset positioning provided in worked part holder are engaged one with another in such a way that to detect position of worked part holder along three mutually normal coordinate axes and its angular orientation. Forcing mechanism fixes worked part holder on clamping chuck in said predetermined position and it includes a large number of forcing members, each member acts in linear direction; all said linear directions are arranged over or near imaginary cylindrical surface crossing first and second members for preset positioning.
