FIELD: working metals by cutting.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of supplying to contact zone of cutting tool and worked material cutting fluid in the form of magnetic micro-capsules. Said micro-capsules are supplied with flow rate 0.05 - 1.5 g/h by action of flow of air activated with use of electric discharges at excess pressure 0.05 - 5.0 at. Ionized air is used for forming flow of air activated by means of electric discharges.
EFFECT: enhanced strength of metal cutting tools.
