FIELD: working metals by cutting.
SUBSTANCE: lubricating components are fed by micro-dozes directly to contact zone of metal cutting tool and worked material in quantity 0.05 - 4.5 g/h under excess pressure of activated gas flow in range 0.05 - 5.0 at. Water with hardness up to 4.6 mg-equivalent/l or solutions on base of such water are used as lubricating components. In order to receive activated gas flow, ionized or ozonized air is used.
EFFECT: enhanced strength of metal cutting tools.
