FIELD: meteorology, possible use for dispersing fog.
SUBSTANCE: device for fog dispersion contains infrared radiation source and reflector. Infrared radiation source is made in form of combustion chamber mounted on supports and having a shape of cylindrical cover made of high temperature ceramics, bent along arc, convex side of which is directed towards a section of a highway or airport runway, and chord of arc of cylindrical cover is parallel to section of highway or runway. Reflector of infrared radiation is composed of parabolic cylinders adjacent to one another and enveloping a combustion chamber. Device additionally contains posts, fuel tank and pump connected thereto, and also system for controlling ignition and burning of fuel.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of fog dispersion, decreased capital expenditure.
