FIELD: equipment for feeding of material to cutting/grinding zone of cutting machine for plant materials, in particular, for tobacco.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has transportation device adapted for feeding of soaked tobacco to cutting/grinding zone, and at least one conveyor furnished with at least one transportation belt. Transportation device is connected with independent carrier structure preferably defined by guides. Working surface of transportation belt of main conveyor is arranged at an angle β relative to horizontal plane, said angle being within a range of from -10 deg to +10 deg. When working surface is in operating state between transportation device and immovable bed of cutting head of cutting machine, access zone is defined.
EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing optimal, fully safe and immediate access from floor level to all operational zones and modules of machine.
