METHOD FOR FORECASTING RISK OF DEVELOPMENT OF SINUS BRADYARRHYTHMIA IN CHILDREN WITH EPILEPSY Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2673113 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to pediatrics. In children with epilepsy, the levels of the main spectral parameters of heart rate variability are determined: the levels of the total power of the spectrum, the levels of the low-frequency component of the heart rate and the levels of the high-frequency component of the heart rate. At the same time, a high risk of sinus bradyarrhythmia is predicted at levels of the total spectrum power from 1,665 to 1,870 ms2, at levels of the low-frequency component of the heart rate from 947–1,036 ms2 and at high-frequency component levels from 589 to 672 ms2. And a low risk of developing sinus bradyarrhythmia is predicted at levels of total spectrum power from 2,300 to 2,763 ms2, at the levels of the low-frequency component of the heart rate from 1,167 to 2,200 ms2 and at high-frequency component levels from 765 to 825 ms2.

EFFECT: method allows to increase the accuracy of predicting the risk of sinus bradyarrhythmia in children with epilepsy.
