FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: one should rectally introduce a laparoscope and through its instrumental canal apply a microprobe of an optic coherent tomograph, bring it nearer to rectal wall to perform pressing with a probe onto the wall to obtain a full-layer image of rectal wall including all its thickness. Then it is necessary to obtain and analyze a tomogram. One should conclude upon functional failure of rectal wall according to the availability of visualization of 4, not less optic layers in rectal wall, deformation in boundaries of optic layers, decreased elasticity of rectal wall at the level of submucous and muscular layers. The innovation enables to differentiate clinico-morphological state of rectal wall after reconstructive-restorative operations in children.

EFFECT: higher accuracy and efficiency of detection.
