FIELD: transport engineering; mechanical antitheft devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed to prevent high jacking of vehicles. Proposed mechanical antitheft device consists of stop and lock interconnected and forming space accommodating sleeve consisting of two sleeve members, one of which accommodates clamping screw. Insert is installed under clamping screw in direction of shaft. Surfaces in contact with shaft on insert and sleeve member opposite to insert are made higher and lower than axis of clamping screw.

EFFECT: improved reliability of device.
