FIELD: electric engineering, possible use for ignition and functioning of gas-discharge lamps.
SUBSTANCE: device contains current-limiting throttle and impulse ignition device of serial ignition, high voltage winding of which is enabled serially with gas-discharge lamp and current-limiting throttle into grid, one of outputs of winding of current-limiting throttle is connected to gas-discharge lamp, and high-voltage winding of impulse ignition device for serial ignition by one output is connected to the grid and by another one is connected to output of winding of current-limiting throttle, not connected to the lamp. In parallel to winding of current-limiting throttle, capacitor with capacity of 10-9-10-6 farads is connected.
EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities of device.
