FIELD: biotechnology, in particular dicamba-decomposing enzymes, isolated DNA molecules, transgenic organisms, method for weed controlling, and methods for material purification.
SUBSTANCE: DNA sequences encoding dicamba-decomposing ferredoxine and reductase is isolated. DNA constructs containing at least one expression controlling sequence and sequence encoding one from abovementioned proteins or O-demethylase are formed. Transgenic dicamba-resistant plants and dicamba-decomposing microorganisms are produced. Method for weed controlling includes application of dicamba-decomposing microorganism on dicamba-containing material. Selection of transformed cells are carried out by culturing of obtained cell population in cultural medium containing dicamba in concentration sufficient for growth of transformed plant cells and insufficient for growth of non-transformed cells.
EFFECT: effective methods for weed controlling and purification of dicamba-contaminated material.
