SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with detecting pancreatic pathology predominantly in children. It is necessary to conduct pancreatic ultrasound survey on an empty stomach and after alimentary loading. Due to dopplerography one should measure the value of volumetric circulation along superior mesenteric artery and by altered value of volumetric circulation before and after alimentary loading it is necessary to calculate postprandial coefficient by the following formula: k=VolFlow2/VolFlow1, where VolFlow2 - the value of circulation after alimentary loading, VolFlow1 - the value of circulation on an empty stomach. At value being 0.3<k<1.1 one should diagnose chronic pancreatitis, and at k>2.0 one should diagnose normal state of pancreas. The innovation enables to increase reliability of diagnostics, prescribe adequate therapy and control the process of reconstructing the structure and the function of pancreas.

EFFECT: higher accuracy and efficiency of diagnostics.
