FIELD: machine engineering, possibly parts used in apparatuses subjected to impact loads and abrasive wear.
SUBSTANCE: high strength article made of high manganese austenite steel is cast by squeezing method at crystallization under pressure. In order to withstand abrasive wear article is reinforced with chips of high-carbon steel non-melting at pouring high-manganese steel. Outer layer of article has hardened layer of martensite formed beforehand by impact load such as explosion. In variant of invention article may be reinforced with titanium alloy plate coated by synthetic corundum applied in mode of micro-plasma oxidizing.
EFFECT: increased useful time period of wear resistant articles, enlarged using range of high-manganese austenite steel.
