FIELD: metallurgy; preparation of metal melts in foundry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes loading and melting of burden in melting furnace, additional loading of charge into melt, alloying, deoxidation and modification of melt by nano-particles of refractory compounds; preliminarily layer of oxides, carbides, carbonitrides, nitrides, borides and other refractory compounds no more than 0.1 mcm in thickness is formed on surface of alloyng elements, deoxidizing agents and part of burden. Modification of melt is performed in the course of final loading of burden, alloying and deoxidation of melt.
EFFECT: falitated procedure; low cost of process.
