FIELD: adjustable hydraulic machines including axial-flow variable-displacement piston machines.

SUBSTANCE: proposed adjustable axial-flow piston machine has adjustable rocking assembly, adjusting mechanism, and distributor position sensor. Rocking assembly has shaft mounted in housing and kinematically coupled with tilted block resting on distributor. The latter is mounted for displacement over supporting surface of housing. Adjusting mechanism has control piston mounted in housing and kinematically coupled with distributor. Distributor position transducer has Hall-effect pickup, permanent magnet, and metal plate made of magnetic material and fixed in position on distributor so that its surface protrudes beyond distributor side surface. Metal plate surface has variable unidirectional section in longitudinal direction coinciding with direction of distributor displacement. Side surface of the latter is not in contact with tilted block or with supporting surface of housing. Special cavity is formed within housing to receive metal plate when distributor is moving. Housing accommodates Hall-effect sensor and permanent magnet which are facing one another and metal plate. Hall-effect sensor and permanent magnet are arranged relative to one another so as to allow for metal plate to move along them in the course of distributor displacement. Housing of proposed machine may have nonmagnetic insert entering cavity accommodating metal plate. Hall-effect sensor and permanent magnet are installed in insert. The latter can be mounted in outlet bore of adjusting mechanism housing. Hall-effect sensor and permanent magnet may be mounted in a spaced relation relative to one another to provide for metal plate motion in space between them in the course of distributor displacement.

EFFECT: enhanced precision and reliability of adjusting mechanism , reduced overall dimensions.
