AXIAL-PISTON MACHINE WITH REGULATING PISTON STROKE CONVERTER Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC F04B1/30

Abstract RU 2338090 C2

FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention is designed to be used in adjustable hydraulic machines, namely, in variable-displacement axial-piston machines. The proposed axial-piston machine incorporates swinging assembly and regulating piston controlling the position of the aforesaid swinging assembly. The regulating piston is furnished with a lengthwise variable-section hole terminating on the said piston end face surface. The said hole cross section variation features a one-way pattern, the hole depth making at least the regulating piston stroke length. The regulating piston is made from a magnetic material. The regulator casing, on the side of the said lengthwise hole, is stopped with a cover accommodating a rod element made in a non-magnetic material and arranged inside and along the lengthwise hole of the regulating piston. The regulating piston stroke converter incorporates a Hall transducer and a permanent magnet, both being arranged inside the aforesaid rod element with its length making at least the aforesaid hole length selected so that the aforesaid Hall transducer and permanent magnet can stay in the said hole during the entire piston stroke.

EFFECT: smaller overall sixes of axial-piston machine and its higher reliability.
