SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to carry out laser Doppler flowmetry in not less than 4 points located upon mutually perpendicular axes of the defect, at the distance of about 1-3 cm against its visual borders. Then on should determine arithmetic mean value of skin microcirculation. The flap should be formed so that its bottom to be located in area being a circumference with the center that has maximal arithmetic mean value of skin microcirculation, the diameter being about 102 cm above the defect's width. The flap's top should be applied at the angle of 50-70° against the defect's vertical axis. The innovation enables to evaluate the state of skin more rapidly and reliably while forming the flap.
