FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed fuel injection system for spark ignition internal combustion engine has fuel tank connected through section main line with low-pressure fuel pump. Delivery line of pump is connected to operating and starting nozzles. Starting nozzle has intake and outlet holes being connected to electric supply system through thermo-relay. Topping-up pump with intake and outlet lines is installed between low-pressure fuel pump and starting nozzle, and air compressor is provided. Compressor has working chamber connected with suction and delivery lines. Suction line of topping-up pump is connected with delivery line of low-pressure pump. Delivery line of topping-up pump is connected with working chamber of compressor whose delivery line is connected with inlet hole of starting nozzle, and suction line is connected with atmosphere.
EFFECT: provision of reliable starting of engines at below-zero temperatures.
