FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nozzles for two-stroke crosshead diesel engines. Proposed nozzle for fuel valve has central longitudinal channel communicating with great number of nozzle drillings. Nozzle is formed by central element with lower section and shell. Shell and central element are soldered together. Shell encloses at least lover section of central element with nozzle drillings. Shell is made of corrosion resistant alloy. Central element is made of iron-based alloy with fatigue strength σA of at least ±500 MPa. Corrosion-resistant alloy is used in manufacture of shell of fuel valve. Iron-based alloy with fatigue strength σA of at least ±500 MPa is used for manufacture of central element. Central element and shell are soldered by vacuum soldering method.
EFFECT: increased service life of nozzle.
