FIELD: protective materials, applicable in rocket manufacture, aeronautics, armored equipment, as well as in production of means of individual protection and bullet-proof shields, containers, tames for carriage of petroleum-oil lubricants, for manufacture of ultrastrong and durable materials used for protection against the action of mechanical, electronic, laser or momentum impact.
SUBSTANCE: the material for protection against impact actions has a multilayer structure made of N>1 separate single-type films in fact of similar thickness d<70μm combined in a pipe. At the mentioned thickness number N of the films in a pipe is selected proceeding from relationship N≥f/pfb,max, where p-the share of the components having maximum breaking load fb,max, f-the impact load, which should be withstood by the pipe. Polymeric and metal films may be used as single-type films.
EFFECT: expanded functional potentialities and enhanced values of mechanical and electric strength and durability of the material for protection against impact actions.
