FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric current conductors having ultimate physical properties and characteristics, including high and ultrahigh strength and durability, low and ultra-low values of electric resistance in a wide range of operating temperatures. Beam conductor of electric current containing N≥1 (where N is an integer number) of individual single-type separate, non-interconnected thin constituent elements, combined into a stack or a beam, wherein each of same-type elements has identical functional purpose and is enclosed between opposite contacts from number K≥2, and number N is calculated by formula N>F/(p∙σp,m∙s), where F – external action on sample, σp,m is the value of σp structurally sensitive physical characteristic or property responsive to external action F, which determines the lower bound of values σp, with which samples are taken to beam conductor, s is cross-sectional area of one constituent elements of beam, p Is probability of penetration of element with level of structurally sensitive characteristic σp>σp,m into a multi-element beam sample, determined from distribution curves of a structurally sensitive characteristic or property.
EFFECT: increased conductivity of conductor.
