FIELD: fire-fighting, particularly to control fire-extinguishing equipment with the use of heat-sensitive means electrically linked to fire-extinguishing aerosol generators and adapted to protect tower-like building structures.

SUBSTANCE: fire-extinguishing module comprises fire-extinguishing aerosol generators arranged in building structure sections. Number of fire-extinguishing aerosol generators is selected to provide effective flame suppression. Fire-extinguishing aerosol generators have activation units electrically connected to triggering device, which is commutated by heat detectors of self-contained power supply. Each fire-extinguishing aerosol generator set is mounted at lower section level, wherein number of fire-extinguishing aerosol generators in each set is selected to provide full coverage of cross-section of space to be protected by fire-extinguishing aerosol with 0.08 kg/m3 aerosol concentration. Activation units of fire-extinguishing aerosol generator set are connected with that of lower section through time-delay means.

EFFECT: possibility of doubled highly-concentrated gas-aerosol mixture action on fire site due to successive automatic supply of fire-extinguishing from fire-extinguishing aerosol generator set of lower tower section to fire site, increased efficiency of fire suppression and prevention of secondary fire site smoldering.
