FIELD: furniture industry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting preliminary slot through panel inner side, along respective straight line in the region of formed corner edges, said panel being made of wood or timber material and having covering layer on its outer side and said slot extending up to covering layer; introducing initially liquid polymeric material into preliminary slot, said polymeric material later hardening in said slot; cutting respective V-shaped slot so that film-like resilient connecting web of polymeric material remains between V-shaped apex region and covering layer; turning to each other case sides separated from one another and upon closing forming connectable surfaces of V-shaped slots.
EFFECT: increased efficiency by eliminating the possibility of separating covering layer in the region of corner edges of case due to reliable gluing between end portions of covering layer and polymeric material.
