FIELD: medicine, surgery.
SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to fulfill median laparotomy; perforation foramen should be tightened into linear defect followed by applying single sutures being short-gap ones through the defect. Moreover, it is necessary to keep margins against the edges of perforation foramen within healthy tissues, the distance between stitches is 1 cm. The first and the last sutures should be applied beyond the defect. Then one should lift the rings of applied stitches to direct the strand of greater omentum into the arch developed. Then sutures should be tightened up. The innovation enables to reconstruct the organ's integrity that leads to sealing and successfulness of sutures in ulcerous defect under conditions of diffuse peritonitis.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
