FIELD: shaping.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for galvanic contact restoration of a metal part and to a tool for smoothing and rolling layers of a galvanised coating, used in the implementation of the method. A layer of a plastic metal is applied to a section of the restored high-wear part by galvanising under current, then the current supply is stopped and the entire surface of the restored section of the part is smoothed using the tool. A uniform coating of a metal material with operation characteristics not lower than the properties of the material of the restored part is then applied in layers onto the entire restored surface of the part by galvanic contact under current while rolling each layer with the tool. A ceramic tool shaped as a mirror reflection from the geometric surface of the restored section of the part after levelling the profile is used.
EFFECT: accuracy of the geometric dimensions and the quality of the surface layer of the restored part with uneven wear of the geometric dimensions and violation of the operation properties of the surface layer is increased.
