METHOD FOR EXTRACTING FLAT-LYING AND INCLINED IMPACT-HAZARDOUS BEDS Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC E21C41/16

Abstract RU 2296859 C1

FIELD: mining industry, possible use during extraction of flat-lying or inclined impact-hazardous beds, prone to dynamic displays of mining pressure.

SUBSTANCE: column of coal bed is extracted in adjacent portions of varying length, for which purpose determined preliminarily is geometric model of jamming of main ceiling of bed and limit run of its destruction is set as well as width of dangerous zone of supporting pressure from cleaning face, while additional drift, which is driven up to boundary of limit ceiling-destruction run, is used to contour ribbon strip of column with width, exceeding width of dangerous support pressure zone from cleaning face, and is extracted by cleaning face, including contoured ribbon strip, section of coal bed column for length of set limit destruction run, then cleaning face is reduced for width of ribbon strip and by shortened face adjacent section of column is extracted from distance ranging from three to five-multiple width of ribbon strip, after that cleaning face is extended up to original value and extraction of next adjacent section of column is repeated for length of limit destruction run, and then cleaning face is shortened again in accordance to aforementioned method, and with such successive alternation of extraction of adjacent sections of alternating length by cleaning face of alternating width processing of column is continued for all its length. During processing by cleaning face of section of column for all of its width and for length of limit destruction run of main ceiling of bed simultaneously in adjacent section of column unloading wells are drilled into ribbon strip and into opposite side into column from additional drift, and during extraction of this section of column by shortened face simultaneously at next adjacent section unloading wells into ribbon strip are drilled from ventilation drift.

EFFECT: increased safety when extracting impact-hazardous beds.
