FIELD: measuring technology.

SUBSTANCE: method for non-contact measurement of bodies with complex surface includes lighting object being studied with light rays, production of image and calculation of surface coordinates. Lighting is performed by a beam of rays, formed by matrix of laser emitters, positioned at fixed distance "a" from one another, forming light flashes on the surface. Then two flat coordinates of flashes are determined, and third coordinate h is calculated from formula , where a - distance between lighting beams, d - observed distance between flashes, φ - angle between directions of lighting and object observation. On basis of produced coordinates, surface of body being measured is reproduced.

EFFECT: increased precision of measurement and reproduction of complex surface, simplified calculation of coordinates of surface points.
