FIELD: manufacture of rectangular cross section rods by drawing.
SUBSTANCE: drawing process is realized in roller type drawing die with shifted along drawing axis pairs of rollers having smooth working surface. Due to sustaining relation of percentage reduction values in pairs of rollers normalized by mathematical expression in range 0.4 - 1.0, it is possible to achieve significant fluctuation of free enlarging. Invention reduces dimension instability of cross section of shapes as operation of drawing die in mode of shape drafting is eliminated.
EFFECT: lowered dimension instability of cross section of drawn rods.
