FIELD: valving systems.

SUBSTANCE: multipurpose valve comprises housing provided with inlet and outlet passages and a lid. The space of the housing receives multipurpose gate valve made of piston of the rod actuated by the drive. The piston is mounted for permitting interaction with the unmovable tubular seat. The multipurpose gate valve is provided with top and bottom tubular stages. The tubular stages are interconnected through the openings in the piston. The tubular stages are provided with similar radial openings arranged symmetrically. The openings are in coincident with these in the seat when the valve is open. The bottom part of the lid is mounted in the housing space and is shaped into a cylinder provided with the sealing surface at its face. The outer diameter of the lid is in a contact with the inner diameter of the top tubular stage of the piston to define a relief space. The relief space is in communication with the space of the housing through the openings. From the side of the top tubular stage, the piston is provided with the sealing member that is mounted for permitting cooperation with the sealing surface of the housing lid when the valve is closed.
