FIELD: the invention refers to noise silencing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: the aim of the invention is in increasing efficiency of noise absorbing due to tuning of the chamber silencer by turning sound observing element. This is achieved due to the fact that the noise silencer has a cylindrical body rigidly connected with the end face inlet and outlet sockets. Inside the body a central partition is fastened and the body is coated inside with sound absorbing material. The inlet and outlet sockets are fulfilled in the shape of cylindrical bushings misalignmently fastened in the body. The ratio of the length of the body L to maximum size D of its end faces fulfilled for example in the shape of an ellipse, a circle or a square, is in the optimal interval of values: L/D+1,O...2,5 and the end faces are fulfilled out of sound observing material.
EFFECT: increases efficiency of noise absorbing.
