FIELD: medicine, radiation diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: on obtaining transverse picture of tested muscular structures it is necessary to study them planimetrically. One should detect the area of muscular cross section followed by a detailed densitometric analysis at detecting average density, mean quadratic deviation, the mode and median of histogram of the measured range of densities. The innovation enables to evaluate the state of muscular tissue structure, takes about 5-10 min being simplified in implementation.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and efficiency of diagnostics.
