FIELD: mechanical engineering; noise silencing facilities.
SUBSTANCE: noise silencer for compressor station has housing, intake and exhaust members. Design peculiarity is that exhaust member is made in from of air intake pipe installed in lower chamber connected with reactive silencing chamber by throttling partition, reactive silencing chamber being coupled with active silencer consisting at least of two sections accommodating plate silencers. Active silencer is connected with filtering chamber furnished with louvered intake members.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of noise silencing owing to exclusion of "beam effect" and penetration of sound waves both along axis of silencer and through its two wall thanks to placing sound-absorbing elements on way of propagation of sound waves.
