FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves determining principle histological compatibility complex (HLA-phenotype) antigens in children and teenagers having thyroid gland nodular formations before beginning treatment. When detecting antigens A10, B7, B35 and loci HLA-A and HLA-B in incomplete phenotype, Papillary thyroid gland cancer is diagnosed. The above HLA-phenotype signs being not available, follicular tumor version is diagnosed and at absence above the listed attributes of a diagnose a follicular variant of a tumor. Technical result is development of a way of differential diagnostics which allows to choose the most effective, expedient and adequate method of surgical treatment.
EFFECT: high accuracy in differentiating the diagnosis versions.
