FIELD: railway automatics.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises determining wave resistance and propagation constant, determining rail resistance and conductivity of insulation from the data obtained, applying two zero shunts on the rail from both sides of the insulating buts, measuring resistance between them, and determining conductivity between the first rail and ground from the formula proposed.
EFFECT: improved method.
