FIELD: the invention refers to exploitation of metro arrangements and may be used for repair, testing and technical servicing of propulsion and auxiliary electrical engines of rolling stock.

SUBSTANCE: the testing station for propulsion electric engines has a step-down transformer, a semi-conductive rectifier on 75 W, a semi-conductive rectifier on 540 W, a semi-conductive rectifier on 240 W, a switch of the direction of the rotation of the armature of the propulsion engine. An adapter for connection with the aid of cables of propulsion engines of the same type, a current sensor of the armature, a control block, thyristor controllers of exciting current, a protective relay are connected to the output of a program arrangement. The outputs of rectifier installations are connected to a common bus-bar connected with the in put of the switch of the direction of the rotation of the armature of the propulsion engine whose output is connected with the input of the program power arrangement. The propulsion engines are connected with the thyristor controllers of current. An additional block of resistors with regulated resistance fulfilling the function of an external load is switched through the cable of the block of resistors with the current sensor of the armature put on it. The output of current sensor is connected through the control block with the thyristor controllers, the protecting relay is connected to one of them.

EFFECT: increases reliability in definition of operating characteristics for selection according to them of propulsion engines for carriages.
