FIELD: medicine, infectious and inflammatory diseases.
SUBSTANCE: it has been suggested to analyze the combination of genotyping data by the signs of allelic polymorphism of cytokine gene and values of a patient's body temperature as a response to the first injection of the preparation, moreover, in case of cytokine gene being homozygous by high-producing allel and temperature alterations towards its increase one should predict low efficiency of therapy; and in case of cytokine gene being homozygous by low-producing allel and no temperature increase it is possible to predict high efficiency of therapy. The innovation is simple in implementation and enables to predict the efficiency of therapy with IL-1 based upon a patient's individual susceptibility for IL-1-based therapy to avoid side effects of the future therapy.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of prediction.
