SPRAY JET FOR PULVERIZATION OF THE LIQUID BEING UNDER PRESSURE Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC B05D1/02

Abstract RU 2301710 C2

FIELD: mechanical engineering; other industries; production of the spray jets for pulverization of the liquid being under pressure.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular, to the equipment intended for regulation of the outlet section of the spray jet and may be used in the industrial installations. The device for pulverization of the overheated liquid in the form of the fine drips with at the high speed has the temperature of the overheated liquid - T0 and the pressure - P0. The pressure of P0 exceeds the pressure of the saturated steam Ps at the corresponding temperature of T0. The pressure of the saturated steam Ps exceeds the pressure Р1 of the gaseous medium, in which one fluid is pulverized. The device has the body of the jet consolidated on the support. The support ensures supply of the overheated liquid. The spray jet body has the fitting pipe, in which the overheated liquid circulates. The spray jet has at least one narrowed nozzle and at least one injector. The injector boosts the overheated liquid for feeding in the extending nozzle. The extending nozzle increases the volume and acceleration of the overheated liquid. The liquid jet is partially evaporated in the nozzle and is blasted under action of the effect of the steam own resilience with formation of the mixture of the fine drips and the steam. The generatrix of the extending nozzle is arranged at an angle to the generatrix of the injectors in the place of their intersection. The nozzle outlet section has the dimensions ensuring the mixture throwing from the spray jet under the pressure of the environment - Р1 with the maximum speed. The invention allows to spray the significant volumes of the liquids in the form of the fine drips at the very high speeds, to simplify the spray jet design, to increase its efficiency and to easy the process of its manufacture.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the spray jet capability to spray the significant volumes of the liquids in the form of the fine drips at the very high speeds, simplification of the spray jet design, the process of its manufacture and its increased efficiency.
