FIELD: aircraft industry; aircraft engines.
SUBSTANCE: according to invention, electrostatic antenna is installed co tactlessly behind nozzle exit section out of the engine and out of its gas-dynamic jet to record electrostatic field generated by charged particles (electrons, ions, microparticles) present in jet, i. e. to record changes in electric charge in reaction gas-dynamic jet of engine when turbine blade cooling system is switched on. Changing of electric charge is provided by contactless method by means of electrostatic antenna installed out of the engine and out of its reaction gas-dynamic jet. Amplitude of signal of pulsations of electrostatic field generated by jet is determined, dispersion of signal of pulsations of electrostatic field is calculated and compared with reference value of dispersion of signal and, if dispersion of calculated signal reduced to reference value, at definite mode of engine operation signal is generated signal is generated of beginning of taking off of additional cooling air after compressor and sufficient cooling of engine turbine blades.
EFFECT: improved efficiency and reliability of checking of operation of turbine blade cooling system.
